The suspects were identified simply as a 35-year old Nigerian lady, bound for Milan, northern Italy, in with 18 cocaine capsules in her stomach. Another Nigerian, a 26-year-old man, and a 25-year old Ghanaian who had swallowed 21 cocaine capsules were also identified. On Wednesday, the airport police had arrested a 27-year-old Ghanaian, who arrived from Conakry (Guinea) with 55 cocaine capsules in his stomach. More than 70 suspected traffickers from sub-Saharan Africa have been arrested at the Casablanca Airport since January 2006, when the Moroccan authorities started using scanner checks.
